LittleBigPlanet 2 has been generating quite a buzz ever since it was revealed during the weeks leading up to E3. That buzz is well warranted too, since it’s the follow-up to the award-winning game by Media Molecule that ushered in a new era of user generated content with Play. Create. Share. Sony has just revealed a release date for the hotly anticipated title, as well as details on a creative collector’s edition and some pre-order goodies. LittleBigPlanet 2 will be launching in North America on November 16 (my birthday!) and a long with the standard edition, there will also be a collector’s edition available packed with goodies. Sony has announced the official release date for LittleBigPlanet 2 this morning. Media Molecule’s sequel to the 2007 hit will launch on November 16, just in time for the holidays. A limited collector’s edition will be also be available. It’ll include a copy of the game, a seven-inch tall Sackboy plushie, a game holder, and more. The full list of contents can be found below.
