Activision’s announced the latest in their series of James Bond games this morning. While the Nintendo Wii is getting James Bond 007: Goldeneye , the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and DS will get James Bond 007: Blood Stone this holiday season. It’s in development at Blur and Geometry Wars developer, Bizarre Creations. Blood Stone is a third-person shooter that promises “full-throttle, behind-the-wheel action on land and sea” while using all the latest in high-tech gadgetry. Players can engage in hand-to-hand combat or cover-based firefights and fly through the game’s “adrenaline-fueled” driving sequences. An array of sixteen-player online multiplayer modes will be available to play, as well. The game’s being written by legendary screenwriter Joss Stone. “ James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond,” said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing. “In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3™ and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales.” James Bond 007: Blood Stone is out this holiday for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and DS. Joss Stone provides an original musical track to the game titled, “I’ll Take it All” written and performed by her and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.
